Turmeric & Egg Mask
I finally hopped on my boyfriend's dirt bike and learned how to ride it this past Monday. We hit some desert trails at the local BLM land, and I had a blast ripping down dirt roads. Who knew going fast could be such a great form a stress relief?
Well, when I got home, I felt like I had been trapped in a haboob. My skin was covered in dirt, I felt tight, chapped and dryyyyy. Soooo dry. Ouch.
I decided to try an egg mask recipe. It's been a while since I had used one, and I figured I could go for something that would help clear my pores while hydrating my skin. The recipe below is very simple, and my complexion looked clearer, brighter, and felt more flexible afterwards. My boyfriend used the mask as well, and the rest got dumped onto my hair as a bonus hair mask!
1 tsp. Turmeric
Drizzle of Olive Oil
Apply all over face using a brush or cotton ball. Leave on for 20 minutes until the mask starts to feel tight. Hop in the shower, or remove with warm water. Tone, Moisturize, and Voila!
The Benefit of Eggs:
Egg yolk, rich in vitamin A + protein, nourishes. I can never bring myself to separate the egg and then toss the other half. It doesn't bode well with me to promote food waste. Egg white helps shrink pores, so as this mask cleanses and hydrates, it also helps shrink my pores so next time I hop on a dirtbike, I don't come home with a face full of dirt!
Turmeric brightens skin, and Olive Oil moisturizes!
